Affected by the combined impact of the traditional off-season in the auto market and the透支 effect of June's half-year sales push, CPCA forecast data shows that national passenger car retail sales in July 2026 are expected to decline by 16.8% year-on-year, with the industry under overall pressure. Against this backdrop, Hyper Aion, after completing BU system reform and comprehensive renewal of its dual brands, continued its growth momentum, with terminal sales reaching 34,987 units in July, up 31.74% year-on-year and 3.87% month-on-month, achieving five consecutive months of double-digit year-on-year growth. In the first half of 2026, the proportion of C-end private users climbed to 81%, marking a fundamental optimization of its sales structure.

Supporting C-end growth are two main models with clear positioning. The Aion i60, which the brand calls a "cultivation-style family blockbuster," has stable monthly sales exceeding 10,000 units, ranking among the top in the A-class new energy SUV market, with users aged 26-35 accounting for 42% of its customer base. The Aion N60, meanwhile, brings LiDAR smart driving features equipped with L4-level homologous algorithms down to the 100,000-150,000 yuan price segment, ranking first in sales in that sub-market, with young users aged 25-35 accounting for 79.8%.

Systematic renewal and service guarantees are the underlying support for the C-end transformation. Currently, the Hyper brand is positioned around "smart enjoyment of life," while the Aion brand upholds "smart joyful living," with each product line having its own focus. As of now, Hyper Aion's cumulative user base has approached 2 million. At the service level, on top of its lifetime warranty for the three electric systems, Aion has also launched a "three responsibilities" guarantee commitment covering three scenarios: spontaneous combustion of the three electric systems, excessive battery degradation, and smart parking accidents; the i60 model also comes with a "burn one, compensate three" warranty policy, with all standards open and transparent. For certain previous batches of battery products, the brand has also introduced corresponding safeguard plans.

On July 28, 2026, at the milestone of the brand officially entering its tenth year with cumulative users exceeding 2 million, Aion unveiled its new independent vehicle series Ray, with the first model Ray7 making its simultaneous debut. This is a 5-meter-class mid-to-large all-electric sedan positioned for young consumers, with plans to bring high-level smart driving solutions down to the 150,000 yuan price range.

Xiao Tang's view:

Nowadays, some people online still tease Aion with old labels, saying its sales are all supported by operating vehicles. This time, with 81% C-end share in the first half of the year, it's fair to say the brand has completed a thorough transformation in its user structure.

Looking back at Hyper Aion's development path over the past decade, their approach was to first build systems and accumulate scale, then gradually implement technology and push configurations downward. In the current industry shakeout period, this "long-distance runner" strategic approach has shown strong resilience, and the cost advantages brought by economies of scale have become evident—features like LiDAR and high-level smart driving that were previously priced higher, it now has the ability to cover more affordable price ranges. This launch of the Ray series also shows the brand is extending toward younger consumer groups.
