The Han L is currently the flagship sedan of BYD's Dynasty Network. Originally, with features such as the fifth-generation DM technology, a 30,000-rpm motor, and megawatt flash charging that matches the speed of oil and electricity, it had secured a place in the first tier of the technology-focused segment by virtue of its strength. At the 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show, the Han L made another push with new updates, not only introducing two all-new paint finishes, Olive Green and West Lake Blue, but also bringing OTA upgrades for the intelligent cockpit and advanced driver assistance systems, further enhancing the Han L's intelligent capabilities and making more possibilities available for consumers' mobility.

【Han L DM Basic Information】
The Han L DM has brought its price within 200,000 yuan. After the super trade-in subsidy, the prices of the three versions are 194,800 yuan, 214,800 yuan, and 244,800 yuan respectively: two 200-km rear-wheel-drive versions and one decoupled intelligent electric all-wheel-drive version, for a total of three configurations to choose from.
The Han L DM is equipped with a plug-in hybrid dedicated 1.5Ti engine. Its technical features include variable-geometry turbocharging, electronically controlled EVVT, a high compression ratio, and ultra-low friction, among other advantages, and it is paired with the EHS200 electric hybrid system.
The maximum power of the front-drive motor in the Han L DM is 200 kW in all cases, with maximum torque of 315 N·m in all cases. In the all-wheel-drive version, the rear-drive motor has a maximum power of 200 kW and maximum torque of 355 N·m. The two front-drive versions accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, while the all-wheel-drive version does so in 3.9 seconds.
The Han L DM is equipped with a super hybrid dedicated power-type blade battery. The power battery capacity is 29.46 kWh in all cases. The front-drive versions have a CLTC combined pure electric range of 200 km and an NEDC combined fuel consumption of 3.9 L/100 km when depleted. The all-wheel-drive version has a CLTC combined pure electric range of 180 km and an NEDC combined fuel consumption of 4.6 L/100 km when depleted. As a flagship sedan with a length of 5,050 mm and a wheelbase of 2,970 mm, the Han L DM's fuel economy and acceleration may make same-priced joint-venture gasoline or hybrid sedans pale by comparison in overall performance.

【Han L EV Basic Information】
The Han L EV also offers three versions. After the super trade-in subsidy, the prices of the two rear-wheel-drive versions are 204,800 yuan and 224,800 yuan respectively, and the price of the all-wheel-drive version after the super trade-in subsidy is 264,800 yuan.
In the Han L EV rear-wheel-drive version, the drive motor has a maximum power of 500 kW and maximum torque of 420 N·m, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds. In the all-wheel-drive version, the rear motor has a maximum power of 580 kW and maximum torque of 450 N·m, while the front motor has a maximum power of 230 kW and maximum torque of 410 N·m, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds.
Among them, the rear motor speed in several Han L EV versions is 30,511 rpm, while the front motor speed in the all-wheel-drive version is 21,500 rpm. If you are quite skilled at driving and want a model with even faster 0-100 km/h acceleration, you should act quickly and get one, because such models may have their 0-100 km/h acceleration and power output restricted in the future.
The Han L EV's power battery capacity is 83.2 kWh in all cases. The two rear-wheel-drive versions both have a CLTC combined pure electric range of 701 km, while the all-wheel-drive version has a CLTC combined pure electric range of 601 km.
All three versions use a 1,000V high-voltage platform, have a charging rate of 10C, support dual-gun charging, and support a maximum charging power of 1,000 kW.
Regarding charging time, all three Han L EV versions need only 6 minutes in the highly efficient 10%-70% charging range. The 0%-100% charging time is 20.1 minutes in all cases. Among comparable models at the same price level currently, there should be very few that can surpass the Han L EV in charging efficiency and speed. Moreover, the two rear-wheel-drive versions can add 400 km of range with 5 minutes of charging, while the all-wheel-drive version can support 343 km of range with 5 minutes of charging. If factors such as charging-station queues and charging power limits are excluded, the experience of using the Han L EV is already basically close to that of a fuel vehicle.
In addition, the super e-platform powertrain equipped in the Han L EV also won the 2025 "China Heart" Top 10 New Energy Vehicle Power System Award and set as many as 16 industry firsts.
【Limited-Time Up to 52,000 Yuan Launch Benefits】

It is particularly worth pointing out that this Han L refresh launch provides users with related benefits worth up to 52,000 yuan, such as an exterior package originally priced at 13,000 yuan for only 5,000 yuan, as well as a super trade-in gift worth up to 15,000 yuan, and so on.
Please note that the related benefits are valid until December 31. With the introduction of the 2026 national subsidy policy, if you plan to change cars in the next two years, making a move in the last two months of 2025 may also be a relatively suitable choice.
【OTA Upgrade Across the Entire Lineup】
The all-new OTA upgrade brought by the Han L this time mainly covers two areas: the intelligent cockpit and advanced driver assistance. In terms of advanced driver assistance, the God's Eye B - Advanced Driver Assistance Laser Edition (DiPilot 300) has implemented a "parking space to parking space" navigation assist function on Han L series models. The system supports driving according to a set navigation route and can recognize barrier gates, waiting for the gate to lift before passing.

After the vehicle reaches the destination, the Han L now also supports cross-floor cruising and can autonomously identify and park in an available parking space, greatly reducing the driving workload and fatigue throughout the entire journey. Of course, although the system supports the entire process without manual takeover, every driver should remain attentive to road conditions and the surrounding environment throughout the trip. When a crisis occurs, the author still recommends taking over manually in advance before the system handles it, in order to ensure driving safety.
The cockpit upgrade is the all-new UI carried by the high-end intelligent cockpit version - DiLink 150. It uses a blend of light and dark tones and can adjust the system color tone in a timely manner according to ambient illumination. The system icons also better match the aesthetics of younger user groups. The system has updated dynamic themes such as the rotation of the four seasons and artistic hand-drawn designs, and three cute pet images make the journey more fun.

【People, Car, Home Intelligent Cockpit Ecosystem】
In terms of the intelligent cockpit ecosystem, the Han L fully realizes "people, car, home" interconnection. BYD and Midea jointly created "New Car Home Smart Interconnection." Users can operate the vehicle at home, and in the car they can also use "Home Mode" to automatically activate multiple smart home functions.

In addition, BYD has also linked up with multiple technology companies, such as smart safety seats, smart eye masks, massagers, game controllers, action cameras, and other ecosystem peripherals, making the experience of every journey even richer.
【All-New Car Colors】
The Han L's Dragon Face aesthetic has already become deeply rooted in people's minds. This time, the Han L brings two all-new paint colors, Olive Green and West Lake Blue, further satisfying the personalized needs of younger users.
Olive Green metallic paint is mixed with micron-level ultra-fine aluminum powder. Under light, the highly transparent color paste has a fresher and brighter visual effect. The gradient effect of gold showing through the green gives a rather premium visual texture. In darker lighting environments, the green of the paint becomes deeper, presenting a dark green visual effect.

West Lake Blue comes from BASF. This is a pearl paint coated with aluminum powder. Under strong light, its visual effect is pearl metallic white, while in dim light its visual effect is clear azure blue. The inspiration for this paint finish comes from the poem praising West Lake's beauty, "plain makeup or heavy makeup are always suitable."
In addition, the Han L also offers a blacked-out sport package, Halberd Gray sport interior, and tiger-skin yellow stitched seats, further enhancing the vehicle's sporty visual effect.
Comprehensive review:
In terms of three-electric technology, the overall level of the Han L should have "few rivals" in the industry, whether it is the super e-platform that achieves "megawatt flash charging, oil and electricity at the same speed," the full-domain kilovolt high-voltage architecture, the 10C flash-charge battery, or the 30,000-rpm motor, the 2.7-second 0-100 km/h acceleration, or the more than one hundred high-end configurations among models in the same class, which are standard across the entire lineup. As a mid-to-high-end flagship sedan, plus the current post-super-trade-in subsidy price range of 194,800-264,800 yuan for the Han L, and many launch benefits, if you plan to change cars in the next two years, making a move in 2025 should be relatively more suitable than in 2026. Take some time to personally take a test ride and test drive, and experience it comprehensively.
