On July 12, the FAW Yueyi 08 was officially launched, with 6 models offered and two powertrain options: pure electric and extended range.
In terms of exterior design, the Yueyi 08 features a closed-off grille on the front fascia, equipped with Stellar River Flying Waterfall headlight clusters that support 6 intelligent light signatures. At the rear, it adopts a full-width taillight cluster with vertical light strips below the taillights, and is equipped with an electric liftback tailgate. The new model measures 4920mm in length, 1920mm in width, and 1475mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2900mm and a drag coefficient of 0.198Cd.
In terms of interior, the Yueyi 08 is equipped with an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch central control screen, standard with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P cockpit chip, running the Ruyi OS system, and supporting AI large models, intelligent voice, HUAWEI HiCar, and Carlink phone connectivity. The center console area features a wireless phone charging pad and cup holders. The vehicle has a total of 31 storage spaces, with a standard trunk capacity of 618L, expandable to a maximum of 1794L.
In terms of intelligent driving assistance, the Yueyi 08 Pure Electric 650 Pro Pilot Edition is equipped with a lidar, supporting highway navigation assistance, memory parking, reverse tracking, and multiple other assisted driving functions.
In terms of powertrain, the Yueyi 08 lineup is equipped with a rear-mounted rear-drive motor with a maximum power of 202kW. The pure electric version offers two battery capacities of 59.04kWh and 70.5kWh, corresponding to CLTC range of 565km and 650km respectively. The extended-range version is equipped with a 1.5L engine, paired with a 27.8kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC pure electric range of 240km and a combined range of 1765km.

It offers both pure electric and extended-range powertrain options; the long-range pure electric version features an 800V platform + 6C ultra-fast charging for quick replenishment; the extended-range version has a combined range of 1765km. The chassis adopts a rear-mounted rear-drive layout with a five-link independent rear suspension, paired with FSD adaptive dampers, tuned for comfort with good vibration filtering performance.
