On August 25, the Beijing Off-Road TaiTan 700 was officially launched, with three versions introduced: Luxury Edition, Qiankun Flagship Edition, and Qiankun Peak Edition.

The TaiTan 700 is positioned as a mid-to-large SUV, with body dimensions of 5040mm in length, 1959mm in width, and 1926mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2820mm. The vehicle adopts a body-on-frame structure, is equipped with 275/55 R20 tires, and offers a rear-mounted spare tire at the back.

Inside, it is equipped with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch central control screen, and a 15.6-inch front passenger screen. The Qiankun Flagship Edition and Qiankun Peak Edition are also equipped with a HUD head-up display and a 21.4-inch rear roof-mounted screen. The seats are made of genuine leather and feature heating, ventilation, and massage functions, and are equipped with rear seatback tables.

The Qiankun Flagship Edition and Qiankun Peak Edition are equipped with 30 sensors, including an 896-line LiDAR, and feature the Huawei Qiankun ADS Max 5.0 assisted driving system, supporting full-scenario off-road NOA, covering urban roads, highways, and off-road conditions.

The TaiTan 700 adopts a range-extender system composed of a 1.5T engine and dual electric motors, with the range extender producing a maximum power of 138kW. It is equipped with a 49.4kWh CATL ternary lithium battery, providing a CLTC pure electric range of 220km. The fuel tank capacity is 82L, and the CLTC combined range is 1340km.

The chassis adopts a front double-wishbone independent suspension and a rear multi-link independent suspension, is equipped with front and rear axle differential locks and an intelligent electric center lock, and supports 11 ATS terrain modes, a 12-level adjustable off-road crawl mode, and a tactical turn function (minimum turning radius of 3.4 meters). The Qiankun Peak Edition is also equipped with an 8-stage compression and rebound bidirectional adjustable damping nitrogen shock absorber system, a full-scenario vehicle-mounted satellite communication system, and a dual-mode oxygen generation system.

Xiao Tang's view:

The combination of the TaiTan 700's body-on-frame structure, three locks, and four-wheel independent suspension gives it the foundation in terms of hardware architecture to balance off-road capability and on-road comfort; while the adoption of Huawei Qiankun ADS 5.0 and full-scenario off-road NOA extends the coverage of advanced intelligent driving to off-road scenarios. The 220km pure electric range and 1340km combined range also alleviate, to a certain extent, the energy consumption anxiety of off-road vehicles.
