Although it has not yet been launched, the Hongqi TianGong 05 has already arrived at dealerships. In addition to being larger and more spacious than the Model 3 and XPeng MONA M03, its more notable feature is that the TianGong 05 has canceled the traditional instrument panel and replaced it with a 65-inch HUD.
As the launch date approaches, news has confirmed that the TianGong 05's in-vehicle AI large model has completed deep adaptation with the DeepSeek-R1 model, making it the first model equipped with Hongqi's flagship intelligent cockpit.
The intelligent cockpit system of the TianGong 05 is provided by ECARX Technology, equipped with ECARX's Antora 1000Pro computing platform, Yunshan software platform, in-vehicle large model ECARX AutoGPT, and Hongqi OS.
By integrating superior innovative technologies and full-stack R&D capabilities, ECARX has completed full-link development from software and hardware design to system integration. Combined with FAW Hongqi's deep accumulation in intelligent vehicle manufacturing, they have jointly created a new AI-driven flagship intelligent cockpit experience for Hongqi new energy vehicles.
From a hardware perspective, the ECARX Antora 1000Pro platform equipped in the Hongqi TianGong 05 features two of China's first 7nm automotive-grade SoCs, the "Dragon Eagle No. 1," with a comprehensive CPU computing power of 200KDMIPS, comprehensive GPU computing power of 1800 GFLOPS, and comprehensive AI computing power of 16 TOPS.
As a deep collaborative ecosystem partner of Dragon Eagle No. 1 and with ECARX's self-developed underlying operating system, middleware, and upper-layer functional components, the TianGong 05's in-vehicle intelligent system can easily handle multitasking in complex scenarios, including AI functions, image rendering, vehicle control, and infotainment systems, all ensuring smooth operation.
The intelligent cockpit of the Hongqi TianGong 05 offers a new AI intelligent experience, adopting an "instrument & central control integrated" human-machine interaction design, and ECARX AutoGPT in-vehicle AI based on a general large language model, bringing a more intelligent immersive human-machine interaction experience.
In addition to the AI intelligent cockpit experience, the TianGong 05 will also be equipped with an advanced intelligent driving system, supporting highway and urban NOA navigation assistance, as well as the "Sinan Intelligent Driving" system with full-scenario intelligent parking. In terms of power, the TianGong 05 is expected to be equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 210 kW, with range options of 750 kilometers and 550 kilometers, and will also feature multi-link independent suspension, air suspension, and iDCS damping system configurations.
From space, intelligence, range to driving comfort, the TianGong 05 has very significant late-mover advantages. Although it has not yet been officially launched, the new car has already arrived at dealerships, so everyone might as well go to the store and experience it.
